  Professional development is educational in nature and utilizes the strategies defined below. During the development process it can be challenging to sort out the primary orientation of your efforts. Often approaches are blended. They can be formal and informal. When considering a label for the type of relationship based work that you do, consider the characteristics for the primary focus you use in your efforts.
